How does it work?

You and I meet for a 90-minute Map It Out session to get some of the back-end research out of the way. We use this as the groundwork for our first strategy session. At the end of our session, you choose which program length best suits your needs.

After creating a quick one-month plan, we get together to review it and really hone the message and platforms you want to use. This acts as a quick-check for me to make sure I’m on the right track.

I do some research and you do some homework to help us hit the ground running. My research includes interviewing some current clients, taking a look at what others in your industry are doing and diving into what’s currently working (and not working) in your marketing.

Then I get to work, putting together your first 90-day plan of action for you: content topics, timing, additional platforms, strategies and a cohesive calendar created in a format that works for you. Just some of the things I consider when putting together the plan: What are your goals? What launches do you have? What are you comfortable doing, content-wise? What do you need support with?

We’ll review the calendar together, about 10 business days after our initial meeting. Here, we’ll tweak it a bit to fit your needs and then you’re ready to roll. Take the content ideas and run with them—to your copywriter or to your keyboard. Need a referral to a great copywriter? Just ask!

Once your plan is in place, you’ll have 3, 6 or 12 months of 1:1 support with me, depending on the package you chose. We’ll meet once a month for 60 minutes to tweak and massage the plan based on your business growth. During our first 3 months together, we’ll also hone a workflow and systems to help keep your content flowing during our time together and beyond.

If you choose the 6- or 12-month plan, we’ll create a new 90-day plan for each quarter we work together.


Program Length

Content strategy is available in 3-, 6- and 12-month packages. All strategy packages start with an initial Map It Out session because not only is it important to lay a foundation, but we also want to make sure we’re a good fit before diving into a larger package.

Half- and full-day intensives are also available if you’re looking to tackle the work all at once! Just ask!

What’s Included

  • Identify your marketing goals (including specific, numbers-based goals for list and visibility growth)
  • Identify what action you want people to take after reading your content
  • Determine how upcoming launches and programs fit into your marketing mix
  • Set up your content/editorial calendar for the upcoming quarter or year
  • Determine best publishing times for each piece of content
  • Evaluate your website copy to identify areas we can enhance to determine if a refresh is in order
  • Meet once a month to review how your content is performing and make tweaks for the following month
  • Conduct research to determine where your marketing efforts provide maximum return and loop in up to five of the following content streams (additional stream strategy available at an additional investment):

Back-End Work

During your strategy program, I’ll work diligently behind the scenes to do the following for you:

  • Identify which content is performing and which is not
  • Update your strategy prior to each monthly meeting so we can make the most of our time
  • Research others in your industry and best practices for upping the game in your content strategy
  • Offer suggestions and recommendations for improving the quality of real-time content, including social interaction
  • Provide ongoing communication so you never feel alone

  • 3-month package: $1287 PIF or $550 down + 2 payments of $465 (includes 60-minute calls in months 2 and 3 to tweak and plan)
  • 6-month package: $2387 PIF or $550 down + 5 payments of $439 (includes 60-minute calls in months 2 through 6 to tweak and plan)
  • 12-month package: $3575 PIF or $550 down + 11 payments of $368 (includes 60-minute calls in months 2 through 12 to tweak and plan)
  • Ideas-only content strategy: $889 per quarter PIF – Get everything in the 3-month package without the dive into analytics.
